Ja, daß ist ok so.
Und es existiert dann wahrscheinlich auch der Link von /var/run/saslauthd -> /var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd.
Und ein "ll -d /var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd/" sollte in etwa so aussehen:

Wie meinst du ein link? Also es sind zummindest unter den ben genannten Pfaden die gleichen Dateien mit den gleichen Schreibrechten.

Öhm, wenn ich "ll -d /var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd/" in der Console eingeb, dann commt: command not found
Ist "ll" der "link"-Befehl?
Falls Du die Zugriffsrechte meinst, die sind bei "/var/spool/postfix/var/run/saslauthd/" auf 750

Ja sorry, ich lerne ja schon jeden Tag dazu. ll kannte ich halt ned und es gibt einen Befehl, der "link heisst"
wenn ich bei "ls" die Option "-d" mache, dann zeigt es mir die Rechte ned.

Mir fehlt immer wieder die entsprechende Rückmeldung von Dir, ob Du es schon gemacht hast... :(

Hast Du inzwischen saslauthd und postfix neu gestartet?

Hallo zusammen, ich habe einen Root-Server. Darauf ist als Betriebssystem Linux Debian Sarge installiert. Als Admin-Software nutze ich Confixx 3.1. Als E-Mail-Server postfix. Nun habe ich folgendes Problem. Ich kann ohne Probleme E-Mail von dem jeweiligen Konto abrufen, aber keine versenden...

Habe davor beides neu gestartet und dann versucht ne Mail zu versenden. Passwort hat er wieder nicht genommen.
 
So langsam gehen mir die Ideen aus.
Evtl. hast Du einfach irgend einen "dummen Fehler" (der Fehler ist dumm, nicht Du) gemacht oder irgend eine Kleinigkeit vergessen oder so... :(

Beim Durchsehen des Thread's ist mir folgendes aufgefallen:
Du hast nie die Ausgabe von "ll /etc/sasldb2" gepostet.
Und ob der User "postfix" zur Gruppe "sasl" gehört, wäre auch wichtig:
grep sasl /etc/group

Evtl. könnte man die Log-Ausgabe etwas genauer gestallten, indem Du in die /etc/postfix/sasl/smtpd.conf die Zeile "log_level: 9" hinzufügst.

Habe dies in der smtp.conf eingefügt.
Habe saslauthd und Postfix neu gestartet und versucht eine e-mail zu versenden. Passwort wieder nicht genommen.
