wie stoppen? (per set daemon 180 in fetchmailrc gestartet)

Hallo,

ich habe offensichtlich erfolgreich das automatische abholen per Fetchmail mit folgendem Eintag in der .fetchmailrc gestartet.

Nun wie stoppe ich das wieder sauber?

sowas wie /etc/init.d/fetchmail stop geht in diesem Fall nicht

Die .fetchmailrc leigt in /home/user/


In der ps aux Ausgabe gibt es ein fetchmail, ist es das? Könnte ich den Prozess einfach killen? Ist das der saubere Weg?

last on the command line, fetchmail will kill the running
daemon process and then quit. Otherwise, fetchmail will
first kill a running daemon process and then continue run*
ning with the other options.

If fetchmail is running in daemon mode as non-root, use
SIGUSR1 to wake it (this is so SIGHUP due to logout can
retain the default action of killing it).

Das sollte Deine Frage doch beantworten, oder?

Einfach mal man benutzen sollte ich nun auch gelernt haben. Allerdings ist das wahrscheinlich nochmal ein bissl anspruchsvoller als hier im Forum auf eine Lösung zu hoffen, denn man muss ja seine Lösung suchen und auch nicht übersehen....

Ich probiers das nächste mal zu erst mal mit man xyz
