Update von Plesk 8.6 auf 9.3 schlägt fehl.

Hallo zusammen,
ich hab folgendes Problem und zwar muss ich mein Plesk 8.6 auf 9.3.0 updaten. Leider funktioniert weder der Autoinstaller noch geht es über die Konsole. Ich bin schon seit Stunden nach einer Lösung am schauen allerdings bisher ohne Erfolg. Eine Neuinstallation geht auch nicht da ich die enthaltenen Daten nicht verlieren darf. Weiß jemand einen Rat woran es liegen könnte? Gruß und Danke
 
Die Erdanziehung verhindert, dass die Festplatten sich schnell genug drehen und daher läuft der Autoinstaller in einen Timeout.

Im Ernst: Welches OS? Welche Fehlermeldungen bringt der Autoinstaller? Was steht in den Logs vom Autoinstaller?

Plesk 9.3 wird von Etch nicht unterstützt und Etch ist outdated und daher auf den Mirrorn nicht mehr vorhanden.
 
Du solltest dich zuerst um ein aktuelleres Betriebssystem kümmern. Entweder per dist-upgrade oder Neuinstallation.
Trotz allem solltest du vorher ein Backup machen.
 
Ok, das ist kein Problem, mach ich sofort. Wie krieg ich das Backup dann wieder so das ich die Daten nutzen kann?
 
Erm... das Backup im Powerpanel für den Fall, dass beim Upgrade was schief läuft.
Zum Upgrade: Source-Liste aktualisieren, Listen laden, upgraden.
Solltest du dich für eine Neuinstallation entscheiden, dann musst du die Daten vorher extern sichern.
 
Dass, womit du am besten zurecht kommst. OpenSuSE 10.3 würde ich nicht nehmen.

CentOS 5.2 oder Debian 5 (Lenny).
 
Aber bringen tut es mir ja nicht viel, hast du denn eventuell einen Tipp wie ich das Backup von 8.6 in eine bereits vorhandene Version von 9.3 einbringen kann. Es geht mir ja nur darum das das Backup erkannt wird.
