Strato V-Server Linux - Java Hilfe!

Hallo,

Ich habe einen Strato V-Server mit Ubuntu 10.04.02 LTS

Ich wollte einen java-Chat Installieren JFChat Community Software 2.4.0

Als root habe ich folgende Schritte ( laut Anleitung ) durchgeführt.

Installieren Sie zuerst Java:

Installationsscript downloaden mit:
wget http://www.javafactory.de/scripts/setupjava.sh

Unter root ausführen:
sh setupjava.sh

5.. Erstelle symbolischen Link: /usr/local/java/current
ln: creating symbolic link `/usr/local/java/current': File exists
OK symbolischer Link erzeugt.

Die Javainstallation ist abgeschlossen.

Folgende datei Hat er Erstellt:

root@h1877464:/usr/local/java# ls
current install.sfx.32294 j2sdk-1_4_2_06-linux-i586.bin
install.sfx.1687 install.sfx.5157
install.sfx.22157 install.sfx.5958

woran könnte mein problem liegen ?
 
Okay .... und wie ist der bei ubuntu ? habe nur ssh zugriff

ich habe bis dato nur mit Suse und Redhat gerbeitet ubuntu ist neuland


ich brauche auch Tomcat
