Soundkarte / Audio auf dem " Root Power" mit windows 2003 Webedition" ( RDP-Audio )

hallo,

ich habe seit kanger zeit mal wieder ein problem mit windows :)

Ich habe mir einen neuen rootserver gemietet und brauche für bestimmte anwendungen die soundkarte.
diese wurde im bios aktiviert. ich selbe habe dann bisher den audiodienst gestartet und auch in der police schon redirection aktiviert.

die soundkarte ist nun sauber im gerätemenager aufgelistet aber kann diese nicht in der systemsteuereung unter "sound und audiogeräte" auswählen. stattdessen ist immer der RDP-Audiotreiber drin.

unter "dxdiag" wird auch nur die rdp-audiokarte(emuliert) angezeigt


ich google schon seit ner woche rum, finde aber nichts was mir weiterhelfen könnte...


hoffe ihr wißt rat, da ich sonst den server kündigen müßte...

Es gibt "virtuelle" Soundkartentreiber für Windows. Ich vermute du hattest da schon ein Ticket zu aufgemacht - Antwort kommt gleich.

nein bisher habe ich noch kein ticket dafür aufgemacht, aber ich habe ein par getestet. doch leider liefen die nicht mit tunebite oder sonstiger software zusammen.

ich werde nachher mal nachschaun ob es da doch noch alternativen gibt...

The solution to this problem is to install a fake/virtual sound card, which will emulate a real card but will not make any output. The equivalent of the /dev/null sound driver in linux and the dummy module in the kernel.

Suitable Software/Drivers

Some solutions exist for solving this problem

REAUDIO - this is a fake driver which installs fine. It is made for some proprietary HAMRadio hardware but with free download. Works under 98/me/2000/xp/SRV2003. In visual it looks like perfectly normal sound card. In device manager it shows up as RigExpert Virtual Sound Card. It has the needed mixer and audio devices.

Virtual Audio Cable - simulates to some extent a virtual card. It is free to try $30 to buy. Not tested enough. In device manager no new sound card appears. To me it seems not working as needed.

PC Speaker/Squeaker - this makes the PC Speaker to some kind of SND card. The contents of the zip look quite suspicios. The instalation inf file looks broken and incomplete. Supported systems - XP (unverified). I do not recommend it. It was not tested at all.

In Microsoft DDK there is a sample for a virtual sound driver which can be used $DDK_INSTALL_DIR$\src\wdm\audio\msvad. From where to get the DDK i don't know.. Some additional links:

Ich empfehle es mit "REAUDIO" zu versuchen.

danke für den tip. die soundkarte ist nun im gerätemaneger und richtig installiert. doch leider kann cih imme rnoch keine andere soundkarte auswählen...


da server4you für die server eine automatische instalation hat, glaub ich mitlerweile, das die irgendwas drüberbügeln für die automatische einrichtung des remotedesktops.

ist dir da was bekannt?

ich denke wir haben wir hier ein wenig aneinnander vorbeigeredet. Diese "virtuelle" Soundkarte ist im Grunde lediglich dazu gedacht um einige Gameserver die eine Soundkarte benötigen zum Starten zu bewegen.

Wenn ich dich jetzt richtig verstehe willst du die Soundausgabe quasi auf deinen RDP Client umleiten, sehe ich das richtig?

Soweit mir das bekannt ist wird an unseren Installationen nichts "umgebogen".

nein ich möchte einfach die lokale soundkarte nutzen, und das auf dem rootserver. das ist alles...

da die server als streamingserver gedacht ist, brauch ich eine soundkarte die ich in der systemsteuerung auswählen kann . da steht nur der rdp-audiotreiber drin, der keinen sound wiedergeben kann, da dieser für remotesound gedacht ist, soweit ich weiß....

und mit rumfummeln meinte ich ehr, das evt automatische scripte für die einrichtung des remotedesktops usw. gefahren werden, die evt einfluss auf die soundkarte haben könnte ;)


versuch ja auch dahinter zu kommen.... aber irgendwie gelingt es mir nicht

Leider habe ich die Mail zu spät gelesen, aber natürlich werde ich mich daran halten.

Und nebenbei kommt hier die Lösung des oben beschriebenden Problems.

Man muss die Remoteverbindung mit console starten, da sonst immer der RDP-Audiotreiber installiert wird...

also --->start ---> ausführen

%SystemRoot%\System32\mstsc.exe /console



fertig, und das nach einer Woche ;)

ich habe genau das selbe Problem/Frage. Da ihr das aber irgendwie alles im PM geklärt habt wollt ich euch fragen ob ihr mir das auch irgendwie mitteilen könnt, wie ich das problem löse.. danke..
