Auf einem Server wurden zwei HDs TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 gleicher Art ausgetauscht.
Seltsamerwiese zeigt eine dauerhaft mit smartctl bei sda einen Fehler, es liefert für $? 64 als return.

Bevor ich den Support nerve, bitte ich um ere Ansicht ob die sda defekt ist.

Upps, das ist irgendwo der Titel verloren gegangen.
Sollte heißen: smartctl liefert exit code 64 bei Abfrage
 
Was ich nicht verstehe, das smartmon für sda dauerhaft einen Fehler zurück liefert, egal ob bei einem short test oder extended..

Wie lässt sich das bei der HD zurück setzen? Weil sonst das monitoring dauend anschlägt.
Das monitoring läuft mit dem Python-Plugin smart_ bei Munin.

Ah, das Plugin nimmt smartctrl -a -i /dev/sda ; wenn ich das auf smartctrl -A -i /dev/sda ändere, könnte es passen.
 
Um deine ursprüngliche Frage zu beantworten, die eigentliche Lösung hast du ja offensichtlich bereits :)

smartctl RC sind Bitmask-codiert. 64=2^6, und damit laut manpage: "The device error log contains records of errors."
