Server auf einmal nicht erreichbar - SSH geht nicht

Hallo,

auf einmal ist mein Strato Powerserver nicht mehr erreichbar. Es werden weder der Apache noch mein SSH geladen.

Dank Remote-Console kann ich mich zum glück einloggen.

Hat einer von euch ne Idee, was da los sein kann?

Edit: SSH erreichbar, jedoch mit was für ner Verzögerung
Abfrage der logindaten dauert ca. 2 Minuten
 
Ich tippe einmal drauf, dass dein Server außergewöhnlich hoch belastet ist. Falsche Config? Schlecht programmiertes Script? Log dich ein, auch wenns Ewigkeiten dauert und schau dir die Auslastung an. Zumindest würde ich einmal einfach drauf tippen.
 
aber selbst nach einem restart wenn keine scripte laufen ist das so.

Gib mir mal bitte nen tipp, mit welchem Befehl ich die auslastung anschauen kann
 
"top" und "ps aux"

Weil richtig down scheint ja dein Server nicht zu sein. Sonst würde er gar nicht antworten. Vielleicht wurdest du auch gehackt - hast du dir die Logfiles schon angeschaut?

Seit wann tritt das auf?

Das war ein Stacktrace des Kernels.; du scheinst Probleme entweder mit dem Kernel oder dem freien Speicher zu haben.

wegen Kernel:
da ist der altuelle drauf.

Habe da meines wissens keine probleme, tippe eher auf eine überlastung durch zu viel ramausnutzung. ist das auch eine möglichkeit?

wie kann ich denn gezielt den apache prozess killen?
 
Dann schau dir doch einfach einmal die Speicherauslastung an. Bei "top" siehst du diese ganz oben oder einfach "free -m". Der Schalter m dient zur Ausgabe in MegaByte.

Nun eine andere Sache die mir aufgefallen ist:

Ich habe zwar eine 2 GB swap-partition, doch die steht immer auf 4 kb

Kann es sein, dass die nicht benutzt wird?

Wie kann ich das aktivieren?
 
Der Grund warum dein Swap nicht genutzt wird, liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass du genügend Arbeitsspeicher zur Verfügung hast und es somit nicht notwendig ist, dass der Swap genutzt wird.
 
Dein Swap wird definitiv nicht gebraucht. Dein Server scheint für die Arbeit die er verrichten soll genügend Arbeitsspeicher zu haben.
