RAM Problem ?

Seit heute ist mein V-Server zum Speicherfresser geworden
VServer bei Vanager, 256 MB RAM zugesichert , Debian Sarge als OS

Könnte das der Fehler sein ?

Schau, man kann sicher die Zahl der Kindprozesse von Webserver und spamd reduzieren und damit RAM sparen;
Was die failcounts bei den tcp-sockets angeht muss das aber nicht helfen, und ob die Massnahme bei Die Verlustfrei moeglich ist (also ob dadurch eine Grosszahl von Besuchern einfach nicht bedient werden wuerde) kann auch keiner hier sagen.
Beobachte mal die failcounts fuer ram und sockets, gerade wenn das System unter Last liegt. Ggfs. kannst du auch mal die Childprozesse des Webservers reduzieren und schaun, wann der erste Benutzer abgelehnt wird.
Da kann Dir hier ohne Kenntnis der Zugriffszahlen niemand einen konkreteren Vorschlag machen.
Wenn ansonsten die failcounts fuer RAM und TCP-Sockets weiter zunehmen ist das System wohl tatsaechlich zu duenn.

Falls du auf deinem V-Server die Plesk-Updates installierst hast dann wird es höchstwarscheinlich daran liegen, war bei mir exakt genauso.

Dann hilft nur noch:
NEUINSTALLIEREN

(Ja ok, vllt. gibt es da noch eine andere Möglichkeit, aber so clean bekommst du ihn sonst nie wieder)
