Puttyproblem mit vServer

Hallo,
ich habe vor einigen Tagen meinen vServer bekommen. In den FAQ steht, dass ich mich mit dem SSH- Client (Putty) einloggen soll. Also gebe ich bei "HostName" den Servernamen an (xxxxxxx.vserver.de)! Doch es kommt immer die Fehlermeldung "Network error: Connection refused"!
Ich habe den Server bereits neugestartet, doch es funzt immer noch nicht. Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen? Muss ich noch irgendwas in Putty umstellen?

10.16 ‘Network error: Connection refused’

This error means that the network connection PuTTY tried to make to your server was rejected by the server. Usually this happens because the server does not provide the service which PuTTY is trying to access.

Check that you are connecting with the correct protocol (SSH, Telnet or Rlogin), and check that the port number is correct. If that fails, consult the administrator of your server.

Hast du in putty auch SSH Protocol 2 eingestellt?
