Proftpd macht Probleme bei restart

Hallo allerseits,

Also irgendwie bin ich nun am verzweifeln denn nach den 5 mal Installiert und immer der selbe Fehler. Also irgendwas stimmt da nicht. Kann mir da bitte jemand helfen?

Ich habe Debian 5 Lenny auf eine Vserver frisch aufgesezt.

Dannach Syscp bisher erfolgreich installiert.

So und dann gehts los ...

Beim konfigurieren des proftp (Laut Anleitung muss man ja 3 Config Dateien neu unter /etc/proftd anlegen) macht der proftpd zicken.

Habe auch schon gegooglet aber leider nichts gefunden.

Nachdem ich die Config dateien so aktualisiert habe wie vorgegeben und den Befehl

Also irgendwie muss es doch da eine lösung geben.

Du soweit war ich auch schon! Diese Seite habe ich auch gefunden, hate aber bei mir absolut NULL gebracht!

Wo sind bei meinen Dateien Leerzeilen am Ende?

Also nach wie vor tappe ich im dunkeln .... Hilfe :-(
 
Fragen wir anders... hast Du die Dateien direkt auf dem Server erstellt oder lokal bei dir und dann hochgeladen?
Da es sich immer um die letzte Zeile handelt, tippe ich immer noch auf irgendein Steuerzeichen o.ä., dass nun den Fehler verursacht.
 
Ich habe die dateien direkt per winscp auf dem server erstellt. Also sprich die genauen ANgaben aus dem Cp heraus per copy und paste in winscp kopiert.
 
So habe das Debackel doch slebst lösen können.

Für alle die Ihr auch mal vor diesem Problems tehen sollt:

Einfach nach der letzten Zeile mit Enter, Enter eine Leerzeile einfügen. Dann klaptt's :-)
