problem mit ftp bei linux debian

Hi,

Ich habe auf meinem root proftpd installiert.

Hat alles geklappt ...

user angelegt ect..

aber beim einloggen kommt

530 login incorrect...

aber der user und das passw sind richtig!!

in deine Config ein und probiers dann nochmal (nicht vergessen proftpd zu restarten)!

Was steht denn so in den Logfiles? Ohne konkrete Fehlermeldung wird es schwierig mit der Hilfe.

Hmmm, hast du bei dir den Midnight Commander installiert ?

Damit bewegst du dich auf dem Server grafisch durch die Verzeichnisse, und hast auch nen Editor dabei.

Die Logs liegen unterhalb von /var/log

Per Kommandozeile kannst du dir Logs z.B. mit cat anzeigen, oder vi lassen z.B.

, aber ich würd dir empfehlen den MC zu benutzen.

...die messages war ein Besipiel für ein logfile, hier für deinen Fall sind die FTP Login Logfiles interessant.

Weiß nur nciht wo die FTP Logins geloggt werden bei dir...
