Plesk + vServer - Server ausgelastet, Seiten nicht zu erreichen

Hi!

Mein vServer mit Plesk scheint ständig ausgelastet zu sein. In der Statistik hab ich durchgehend Werte von 10 und höher. Wenn ich versuche die dort gehosteten Domains zu erreichen hab ich endlose Wartezeiten. Nach einem Server-Neustart funktioniert dann wieder alles - leider nur für ein paar Stunden.

Ich hab mir jetzt mal die Prozessliste angeschaut, finde aber nichts auffälliges. Der CPU ist zwar zu ca. 40% ausgelastet, die Webseiten sollten dann aber doch erreichbar sein, oder?

Hat jemand eine Idee woran das Problem liegen könnte? Welche Logs kann ich mir noch anschauen um evtl. die Ursache zu finden?

Du musst prüfen, was der Arbeitsspeicher und co. macht. Die Prozessliste alleine sit da weniger Aussagekräftig. Die Information, dass die CPU zu 40% belastet ist, bringt auch relativ wenig, da du einen virtuellen Server hast, d.h. die CPU mit anderen Nutzern geteilt wird.

Guck dir mal
cat /proc/user_beancounters

an. Dort stehen die Resourcen, die dir zur Verfügung stehen, und die aktuellen Verbrauchsdaten.

Okay, danke! Ich behalte die Werte mal im Auge bis zum nächsten Mal, wenn nichts mehr geht. Dann werde ich mich wohl nochmal melden müssen :)
