Das wäre bei einem Update der Micro-Versionsnummer auch sehr, sehr verwunderlich. Sobald eine neue Distribution unterstützt wird, ändert sich die Major- oder zumindest die Minor-Versionsnummer. Andererseites ist es SWSoft/Parallels...
 
ich wollte mal wieder mutig sein...

Leute die Suse10.3 64 bit als Betriebssystem nutzen, sollten die Finger vorerst von diesem Update lassen.

  • Nach dem das Update eingespielt wurde, kam es zu Fehlern im autoupdate success report.
  • Webseiten leiteten plötzlich alle auf den Webmailer Horde weiter. :eek:
  • Im Plesk Updater steht, dass Base packages of Plesk Okt 9, 2009 ein Update verfügbar ist.
    Alle anderen Pakete sind installiert und aktuell.
  • Keine neuen Lizenzbestimmungen kamen beim ersten Anmelden
  • Nach Server Reboot sowie ein deaktivieren (sperren) einer Domain und wieder entsperren leitete die Domain wieder auf den "httpcocs Ordner" statt auf den Webmailer.
Kann mir jemand ein Tip geben, wie ich jetzt am besten Verfahren sollte.
Es ist ja eigentlich alles installiert, aber irgendwie auch nicht.

Wenn du nur Webpages auf deinem Server hast wär es ja ganz easy die httpdocs ordner als tar zu speichern, die mysql datenbanken "dumpen" und neu aufsetzen !

Wär mir auch ehrlich gesagt lieber als gefrickel ! Es sei denn du kannst Plesk 9.2.3 restlos entfernen und zu der früheren Version wechseln!

Suse 10.3 wird auch seit längerem nicht mehr supported! Kannst ja somit Zeitgleich deine Distribution wechseln!

Als OpenSUSE Anfänger fiel mir der Umstieg auf Debian sehr sehr leicht und die meisten ISP haben die aktuelle Debian! Suse wird meist mit nidriegererer Priorität behandelt wie es scheint!

Sage nur High CPU load caused by relaylock processes.

Das war nervig genug.

Und so einfach das Betriebssystem zu wechseln, würde mir zeitlich gar nicht in den Kragen passen.

Klar ist Suse wie viele es nennen, ein "unmodernes Windows" .
Für meine Anwendungen (nicht nur Webpages) ist es dennoch zuverlässig.

So mal sehen was jetzt der Support von Parallels sagt.
Hoffe ja das die schon ausgeschlafen sind.
 
Das Changelog macht ja Mut das diese nervigen Probleme mit einer hohen Serverload wegen tonnenweise CPU Resourcen fressenden Tasks executable die bei uns seit Plesk 9.2 alle paar Wochen zu einem lahmen Server mit hoher load geführt haben, vielleicht gelöst sein könnten.

Das Update von Plesk 9.2.2 auf 9.2.3 lief auf Ubuntu 8.04 LTS gestern bei uns jedenfalls problemlos durch. Ich habe es allerdings über den CLI-Installer gestartet, da ich die Erfahrung gemacht habe, dass das Webinterface-Update gerne mal einen 'hänger' meldet und man dann eh via Command Line ran muss.
 
Das Update lief durch, wenn ich nun aber per cmd den autoinstaller aufrufe bekommen ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

Wieso habt ihr mit Ubuntu immer so ein Glück:confused:
Heute waren bereits 2 Linux Admins von HE sowie hinterher der Parallels Support auf meinem Server.

Und wisst Ihr was ?

Diese 3 Personen haben bis jetzt leider immer noch nicht den konkreten Fehler gefunden.

HE möchte ich nichts schlechtes nachsagen.

Bei Parallels dachte ich eigentlich schon, dass sie Probleme die ein Update verursachen auch wieder lösen können.

Hauptsache ein Update nach dem nächsten rausbringen.

Gab es bei Plesk nicht einmal Beta Tester?

Erfahrungsgemäß werfen die ein Update für ein paar Tage auf den Markt. Entweder es geht gut, oder es kracht. Ich erinner mich da dunkel an die zig Neuinstallationen nach dem 8.3-Release ;)

Interessant finde ich, dass bisher noch keine Release-Notice über die entsprechenden Mailinglisten von Parallels gekommen ist.
 
Ich hab da auch noch nichts bekommen, war aber damals bei 8.irgendwas, ich glaube es war eh 8.3, ja genauso. Das wurde ja kurz darauf wieder zurückgezogen, deswegen ist glaub ich jeder gut beraten ein Parallels update NIE direkt nach release einzuspielen sondern immer ein paar Tage zu warten...
 
Läuft auf Debian etch - schließe mich aber DerFalk an. ;)

Brauchten neuen Server und damit auch mal wieder neues Plesk, daher weiteres Versuchkaninchen für die Bananensoftware...zwangläufig updates mitbezahlt und dann mache ich das auch - aber weiter bezahlen, wenn mans nicht braucht, würd ich nicht ... ;)

Das Problem wurde anscheinend gelöst und es sollte wieder 
funktionieren. 

Bezüglich der hohen Last durch Qmail.
Dies ist es bekanntes Problem beim Einsatz von Qmail und
Greylisting.
Ob dies in der neuen Version 9.2.3 behoben sein soll, 
können wir leider nicht sagen.

Das Update lief aus dem Grund nicht durch, da eine SQL Tabelle beschädigt war.
Komisch die letzten Updates liefen ohne Probleme.
An der MySql DB habe ich keine Änderungen vorgenommen.

Jetzt nach der "erfolgreichen" Installation des 9.2.3 Updates durch Parallels kann ich aber auch sagen, dass der Bug mit den zu hohen Executable Prozessen nicht gefixt wurde.
Habe das Greylisting aktiviert, und schon kamen Monitoring Warnungen...
die Last dieser Executable Prozesse legte sogar den SQL Server lahm.

Und ich hatte echt noch Hoffnung, das alles läuft!
