numothersock problem durch postfix ?

Hallo,
leider bin kein linux genie so wie manch anderer hier. deswegen brauch ich mal von euch ordentlich hilfe.
wir haben bei s4y einen server "rootds starter" der bis vor 2 wochen tadellos funktionierte. nun müssen wir jeden tag mindestens 2 mal den server rebooten da ständig der mailserver seinen dienst einstellt ...
s4y hilft uns leider nicht weiter und verweist auf ein upgrade für einen leistungsfähigeren server.

Ich bin für jede Hilfe dankbar ...
 
Gib dem ps mal immer ein f mit, damit er einen Baum der Thread-Hierarchie macht - das liest sich besser.

Die vielen smtp-Prozesse sehen jedenfalls nicht gesund aus. Vorallem, dass 17:50 noch smtp-Prozesse von vor 16 Uhr da sind ist nicht gut.
BTW: Stimmt die Server-Zeit? Dein Beitrag ist von 18:48 Uhr, aber das "ps aux" hat als Start angegeben 17:50 Uhr

Hast du mal geschaut, was so an Mails über euren Mailserver geht? Poste mal ein paar aussagekräftige Auszüge aus dem Maillog.

Also Postfix.

Denn du, bzw deine Server, bombadierst gerade optonline.net mit Mails.

In den Logs steht aber was anderes.
Nachdem du den Postfix gestoppt hast, solltest du als erstes herausfinden, auf welchem Wege die Mails in dem MTA eingeliefert wurden.
Danach musst du dieses Einfallstor schließen und die Mailqueue leeren (durch löschen, nicht durch abarbeiten lassen ;)).
Dann kannste den Postfix wieder starten und u.A. auch dafür verwenden, den Admins von optonline.net eine kurze Entschuldigungsmail zukommen zu lassen ;)

der bis vor 2 wochen tadellos funktionierte. nun müssen wir jeden tag mindestens 2 mal den server rebooten da ständig der mailserver seinen dienst einstellt ...

Bedeutet diese Aussage eigentlich, dass euer MTA schon seit 2 Wochen undiagnostiziert Mails feuert? Wenn ja, dann ist das echt ein dicker Hund!
Naja, wenigstens hat das Portlimit für eine gewisse Mäßigung gesorgt...

Als nicht Linux Profi muss ich mich bei euch bedanken ... Danke für die paar Hinweise ... womit ich mich ein bisschen durchmogeln konnte.
ZUR INFO, ich habe das "Einfallstor" der SPAMMER gefunden ... es war ein PHPKIT aus einem Kundenbereich der wohl gehackt wurde und nun darüber kräftig SPAMS versendet hat. Das Tor wurde geschlossen und dei Mailquenue gelöscht ... und nun rennt alles wieder ...
