Hallo Leute

gibt es hier in diesem schönen Forum jemanden, der mir helfen kann eine Mailenable Standard-Installation auf einen Windows 2003 Server ordentlich zu installieren und zu konfigurieren?

1. Ich möchte eine Möglichkeit geben von außen E-Mails zu versenden.
Sprich pop3.meinedomain.de einzurichten.
Nur ich habe keine Ahnung wie das gehen soll!
Ich benutze Apache 2.2.4.

2. Dann gibt es einige Fehler im Protokoll, die mich irritieren!

So ...
Es läuft jetzt einiger Maßen, aber immer wenn ich E-Mails zu web.de oder ähnlichem schicken möchte kommt folgender Fehler:

Warning: mail() [function.mail]: SMTP server response: 503 This mail server requires authentication when attempting to send to a non-local e-mail address. Please check your mail client settings or contact your administrator to verify that the domain or address is defined for this server.

Warum?
Kann mir jemand helfen den loszuwerden?

Steht da ja. Du mußt dich vorher Anmelden um eine Mail zu verschicken. Wie das über PHP geht weiß ich allerdings nicht.
 
Für diese Frage habe ich die Antwort gefunden:
Man nutzt einfach PHPMailer.
Danke noch mals an mainlink, der mich auf den Tipp gebracht hatte.
