Hello,

Server4you is really not flexible, i did ask them to install Centos plain and they can not.

I was using S4U but as they don't have a compatible OS on their new Root server 64 bits, i need to find another Datacenter. Plusserver is not a solution either.

just to explain the answer of S4Y to you:
They install their systems via images.

So they don't go to the Server, plug in a Diskdrive, put in a CDROM, and start to install.

They simply press the Button for installing, and your Server reboots and loads the completly unattended Install of the chosen OS.

So you can't except that they install a OS chosen by YOU which isn't listed in their webinterface.

You should use google, and you'll find a provider with one of the compatible systems.

One last question:
Why do you want to rent a Server in Germany if you even can't speak German?

I know how does S4U work... after two years with them: not that great.
Btw, FC5 is known as unstable.

To have a better response time compared to a server in the US
(30ms against 130 ms) and our business is in Europe and US. So we need a few servers around the world.
