Heute hatte ich folgendes im log-file (s.u.). Was bedeutet das denn ??

sieht nach 'nem versuchten Buffer Overflow Exploit aus

Am einfachsten man schaut bei Google und Co. einfachmal nach Statuscodes. Dann würde man ganz schnell sowas in der Art finden.

Eigentlich ganz einfach. Und nichts worüber man sich sorgen machen muß.

Das habe ich jetzt mal gemacht, aber dabei keine Liste der statuscodes gefunden. Wo findet man denn eine -- oder noch besser, kann man statt dem code gleich die Erklärung selbst im log-File ausgeben lassen ??

Wenn noch großartig Erklaerungen ins Log geschrieben werden, wie groß soll das denn noch werden? Mehr als eine Handvoll dieser Statusanzeiger bekommt man eh kaum zu sehen.

Heute hat (zum 1. mal in 2 Jahren) der crack-track meines Forums einen abgewehrten Angriff durch libwww-perl gemeldet, im log-File stand dazu: (s.u.) Dem status-code nach war zumindest die 1. Anweisung gelungen. Was bedeutet das denn ?

"/phpBB2/index.php//language/lang_german/lang_main_album.php?[...] 200" bedeutet, dass es die Datei gibt.
Ob dabei was mit den Get Parametern angefangen werden konnte, ist dabei irrelevant.
