Ich konnte bisher keinen Beitrag finden, der mir irgendwie weitergeholfen hätte. Vielleicht hab ich auch falsch gesucht. Bitte steinigt mich nicht, wenn das Thema bereits existiert.

Ich nutze das VServer Basic Paket von S4U und habe Debian Linux drauf. Das Teil läuft sehr gut und ich betreibe den VServer nur für einige Websites. Den Server nutze ich seit April. Abgesehen von regelmäigen Updates via apt-get upgrade, ist der VServer noch in der Standardkonfiguration.

Ich hab gestern über Confixx Premium Edition meiner Freundin eine Email Adresse angelegt. Das Empfangen von Emails klappt problemlos, nur habe ich Probleme mit dem Senden. Ich benutze Win XP und Outlook Express. Outlook gibt mir die Fehlermeldung:

"Die Nachricht konnte nicht gesendet werden, da einer der Empfänger vom Server nicht akzeptiert wurde. Die nicht akzeptierte E-Mail-Adresse ist "empfaenger@mailempfaenger.de". Betreff 'Sendtest', Konto: 'Emailkonto', Server: 'mail.meinedomain.de', Protokoll: SMTP, Serverantwort: '550 relay not permitted', Port: 25, Secure (SSL): Nein, Serverfehler: 550, Fehlernummer: 0x800CCC79"

Meine erste Vermutung war, wie wahrscheinlich bei allen, dass ich die SMTP-Auth. nicht aktiviert habe. Ist aber unter Outlook ("Server erfordert Authentifizierung" und "Gleiche Einstellungen wie für den Posteingangsserver verwenden") eingerichtet.

Wenn ich jetzt eine Mail über Confixx Webmail schicke, klappt es problemlos. Entweder hab ich was falsch in Outlook eingerichtet oder sonst was stimmt nicht.

Ich kann Mails auf allen Konten via Outlook empfangen, aber nur über Confixx Webmail senden.

Es wäre nett, wenn mir jemand helfen könnte. Ich bin auch noch ein Anfänger, also bitte nicht überfordern! ;)

Folgende Logs zu den Zeiten in denen du versuchst zu senden wären interessant.

mail.info
und
mail.err

Jeweils zu finden in /var/log

Bitte verwende beim posten der Logs den code tag zur besseren Lesbarkeit.

vsXXXXXX, mit den X hab ich die letzten Stellen meiner IP unkenntlich gemacht.

Ich bin mir fast schon sicher, dass es an der Exim4 bzw. dem MTA Konfiguration liegt. Bin ein DAU und hab natürlich keine Ahnung!

Die Exim4 Mainlog bringt auch keine erkenntnis! :(
 
@marneus: Ja, die Option "Server erfordert Authentifizierung" ist gewählt und unter Einstellungen "Gleiche Einstellungen wir für den Posteingangsserver verwenden"

Ich hab mich schon gefragt, ob vielleicht nur Mails vom localhost akzeptiert werden und Mails von außerhalb geblockt werden, weil ja der Mailversand von Confixx Webmail aus funktioniert.
 
Installiere Wireshark und belausche damit das Gespräch zwischen Outlook Express und Exim.
Alternativ kannst du auf deinem Server ein "exim4 -bh 1.2.3.4" starten und einen SMTP-Auth Dialog manuell durchspielen.

Das ist nur ein abgebrochener Monolog, damit daraus ein Dialog wird (nur bei dem kann man erkennen wo das Problem ist) mußt du dich Exim vorstellen, authentifizieren und sagen das du eine Mail abliefern willst, wie das geht steht im oben verlinkten Wikipedia Artikel.

Da du Wireshark anscheiend nicht magst kannst du auch serverseitig mitlauschen:

Dein Exim erlaubt Outlook nicht sich zu authentifizieren, jetzt wäre die Ausgabe von den von mir weiter oben erbettenen "egrep"s hilfreich.

Spar dir die Mühe, Wireshark macht im Prinzip das gleiche wie tcpdump nur mit einer grafischen Oberfläche.

Schalte mal SSL bei Outlook Express ein(es sollte irgendwo ein "Dieser Server verwendet eine sichere Verbindung (SSL)" Kästchen dafür geben) und probiere es noch mal neu.
Alternativ kannst du auch unverschlüsselte Authentifizierung zulassen indem du "AUTH_SERVER_ALLOW_NOTLS_PASSWORDS = true" an den Anfang von /etc/exim4/exim4.conf.template hinzufügst und exim4 neu startest.
