Import Dovecot vmail folder of IMAP server into Outlook or Thunderbird

Hey Email - experts,

I've got a backup of a vmail foder with several users which is from a dovecot system.
I'd like to restore those emails, e.g. bring them into Thunderbird or Outlook.
In "cur" folders they look like this and are readable textfiles:

I thought of a "dovecot-docker-image" and copy them into and then connect with Thunderbird, but setup is a lot of work with configs, certificates, users etc. and quite hard on Windows 10 docker installation.
And a new dovecot installation from scratch in virtual machine may be a lot more work.

Is there a simple way to get all of these emails into a readable format into Thunderbird or another client? E.g. a converter to eml?

Or does someone know howto get dovecot docker image running in Windows 10?

No, I didn't. Thanks a lot for this hint, it looks great and seems to be able to import my kind of mails. I'll try that, thank you very much!
