Guten Morgen liebe Community,
gestern habe ich mir bei Server4You einen vServer gemietet. Auf diesem ist "CentOS" installiert.

Nun ja ich möchte eigentlich über Exceed oder VNC oder wie auch immer die Grafische Oberfläche Gnome haben. Nur so zum spielen... :D

Code:
yum groupinstall "X Window System" "GNOME Desktop Environment"
yum -y install vnc-server

VNC-Server & $DISPLAY

Code:
 vncserver

New 'vs****.vserver.de:2 (root)' desktop is vs****.vserver.de:2

Starting applications specified in /root/.vnc/xstartup
Log file is /root/.vnc/vs2****.vserver.de:2.log

[root@vs**** ~]# export DISPLAY=vs****.vserver.de:2

startx

Code:
[root@vs**** ~]# startx
xauth: creating new authority file /root/.serverauth.23977

_XSERVTransSocketOpenCOTSServer: Unable to open socket for inet6
_XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for inet6/vs****.vserver.de:0
