exim4 -> 501 Keine Autothentifizierung, smtp after POP3?

Hallo,

ich bin neu hier, habe aber leider auch mit der Suche nichts finden können.

Ich möchte den Exim4 unter Debian einsetzen und zwar möchte ich im augenblick nur Mails senden.

Rausgeschickt werden sollen die Mails über web.de, allerdings bekomme ich dann im log des exim immer folgende meldung:


2009-07-16 14:37:45 1MRQDD-0001Ma-1b ** root@zytrace.local R=smarthost T=remote_smtp_smarthost: SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM:<> SIZE=2538: host smtp.web.de [217.72.192.157]: 501 Keine Authentifizierung, oder POP3-Anmeldung zu weit in der Vergangenheit . / Authentification failed, or POP3 logon too old.


Ich vermute das es einfach damit zu tun habe das ich bevor ich sende keine Mails abrufe und wie die meldung zeigt daher kein POP3 logon gefunden wurde.

Kann mir jemand nen Tip geben wo ihr hier noch was einstellen muss?

2.3.1. Using Exim as SMTP-AUTH client

If you want to set up Exim as SMTP AUTH client for delivery to your
internet access provider's smarthost put the name of the server, your
login and password in /etc/exim4/passwd.client. See the man page for
exim4-config_files(5) for more information about the required format.

If you need to enable AUTH PLAIN or AUTH LOGIN for unencrypted
connections because your service provider does support neither TLS
encryption nor the CRAM MD5 authentication method, you can do so by
setting the AUTH_CLIENT_ALLOW_NOTLS_PASSWORDS macro. Please refer to
Section 2.1.3, "Using Exim Macros to control the configuration" for
an explanation of how best to do this.

/etc/exim4/passwd.client needs to be readable for the exim user (user
Debian-exim, group Debian-exim). It is suggested that you keep the
default permissions rootebian-exim 0640.

smtp after POP3 ist veraltet und war eh damals schon nur eine Notlösung.
