Email-Problem...

Hallo zusammen,

hab schon seit einer Weile einen vServer von S4Y. Jetzt möchte ich auch mal die Emailfunktion von dem Ding nutzen, aber es läuf einfach gar nichts..

Ich denke mal, dass ich die Emailadressen und Postfächer im CONFIXX richtig eingerichtet habe.

Folgende Fehlermeldungen treten bei mir häufig im Error Log auf:

Was kann ich da machen?

P.s. Bitte vorsichtig erklären, bin absoluter Newbie
 
Die Alias-Datenbank existiert nicht und muss daher erst aus der Quell-Datei (/etc/aliases -- nur die darf von Hand bzw. automatisch von Confixx bearbeitet werden) erzeugt werden.

postalias /etc/aliases
der erste Befehl zeigt dir das Manual zu postalias an; der zweite Befehl erzeugt die Datenbank.

Wenn Du Confixx verwendest, sollte das allerdings automatisch erfolgen. Insofern solltest Du mal schauen, ob das Updatescript bzw. cron überhaupt laufen. Zu diesen Themen solltest Du mit der Forensuche viele Beiträge finden können.

EDIT: Blöden Fehler beseitigt: Natürlich muss es postalias heißen und nicht postmap -- sorry für die Verwirrung!

Ich hab das update-script jetzt mal manuel durchlaufen lassen, aber die datei "/etc/aliases.db" wurde trotzdem nicht erstellt. :(

Danach habe ich mal "postmap /etc/aliases" eingegeben dabei kam folgende meldung:

Vielleicht ist die aliases.db ja in einem anderen ordner?

Ich kann übrigens auch nicht über das Webmail von Confixx auf meine emailpostfächer zugreifen.:confused:

Ich hab jetzt mal "postalias /etc/aliases" und "newaliases" eingegeben und nun ist die aliases.db vorhanden...
 
Nun habe ich folgende Ausgabe in der Mail Log:

Ja. Denke ich zumindest :o)

Im Anhang ist die Ausgabe von "top". Ich hab circa 10 smtp Prozesse. Ist das normal?

ich hab jetzt das mal eingegeben: "/etc/init.d/clamd start" der Status von clamd ist jetzt "running".

Confixx-Email-Weiterleitungen zum meiner privaten Email funktionieren inzwischen wieder. :)

Mal schaun, ob ich vielleicht sogar noch den Webmail login hinbgekomme :cool:
