email empfangen geht nach install nicht

habe alles nach der suse anleitung von swsoft installiert, jedoch kann ich keine mails empfangen

hab ich da was vergessen zu starten? oder was ist da los?
ne email adresse und domain sind jedoch eingerichtet

Das gleiche Problem habe ich auch.
E-Mail senden funktioniert, E-Mail empfangen funktioniert nicht. qpopper ist installiert. Es kommen gar keine Mails an (also /var/mail/web0p1 ist leer).
qpopper ist im xined (Yast -> Netzwerkdienste -> xinetd) aktiviert. Es kommen auch keine Mails zurück an den Absender.

In /var/log/mail steht folgendes:

Jan 20 20:41:16 h689966 popper[20474]: Stats: web0p1 0 0 0 0 localhost 127.0.0.1
[pop_updt.c:296]

Ein telnet localhost pop3 meldet:

Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.

+OK ready <20995.1137787207@MEINHOSTNAME.TLD>

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich weiter vorgehen muss, um E-Mails empfangen zu könne?

Bitte Punkt 3 beachten.

@salnet:
Mail-Empfang hat nichts mit POP3 zu tun sondern mit SMTP.

Prüft beide, ob Euer MTA (Mail-Transfer-Agent: z.B. Postfix, Qmail, Exim, Sendmail) laufen.

Der MTA muss fast laufen wenn er eine Fehlermeldung von Postifx bekommt oder nicht??

Der Fehler "mail for *** loops back to myself" deutet eindeutig auf eine Fehlkonfiguration vom Postfix hin! Schau dir nochmal die main.cf genau an bzw mal posten!
