Hi,

könnten ein paar von euch bitte diese 2 IPs über 10 - 20 Pakete pingen?

95.156.232.20 & 193.192.59.210

Sinn und Zweck ist es zu entscheiden ob ich jetzt bei meinem Traffic bleibe (2. IP) oder im Interwerk auf Premiumtraffic umsteige und könnte dafür ein paar vergleiche benötigen :)

Die Route zu den IPs scheint mit diesem Alice-DSL Anschluss in Hamburg Jacke wie Hose zu sein, wobei die Premium-95-er IP einen Hop mehr hat. Die Ping-Zeiten sind ziehmlich identisch. Ein kleiner Vergleich:

Hetzner muss ich dann wohl nicht mehr testen, das wurde ja schon gezeigt.

So wie es mir scheint, wirst du mit dem teureren Premium-Traffic keinen Gewinn machen. Wenn die Anzahl der ICMP-Pakete aus den USA auf die Premium-Traffic-IP steigt, tritt auch hier ein geringer Packetloss auf. Jedoch würde ich hier auch den Anbieter vermuten, da geht öfter mal ein Paket verloren…

Achja, das jetzt ist auch schon Premiumtraffic.. Jedoch sieht es bei mir so aus das die 95.156.232.20 4ms besser ist .. trotzdem gleichem Routing.

ich glaube der Premium-Traffic unterscheided sich tatsächlich nur ob du ein direktes Telekom peering drin hast oder nicht...
Frag doch einfach mal nach wo der Unterschied liegt.

Hi,

bei beiden IPs handelt es sich um Premiumtraffic :cool:
Wie du schon gesagt hast, die 1. IP ist mit DTAG und Link11 als Carrier angebunden, die 2. mit Link11 und Lambdanet.
