E-Mails gehen nicht

Hallo,

jemand hat für mich auf meinem Server Confixx installiert, aber leider nicht mehr fertig konfiguriert. Jetzt stehe ich da, ohne funktionierende E-Mails.

Vorneweg: Ich habe nicht viel Ahnung von der Konfiguration eines Servers. Habe ja nicht ohne Grund das einen Experten machen lassen.

Mein Problem: Ich brauche funktionierende E-Mail-Adressen. Zumindest Weiterleitungen. Ich habe Weiterleitungsadressen eingerichtet, aber wenn ich eine E-Mail an eine solche Adresse schicke, kommt diese nicht an. Ich erhalte stattdessen folgende E-Mail:

Hallo,

ich weiß es leider nicht. Also ansonsten läuft der Server soweit. Habe noch nichts entdecken können, was nicht geht (außer den E-Mails natürlich

). Homepages laufen alle bereits bestens.

Wenn ich mir ein Postfach einrichte und mich dann per WebMail einlogge, erhalte ich folgende Fehlermeldung:
Bekomme keinen Connect zum Server. Vielleicht ist der POP3-Server gerade nicht zu erreichen.
Naja, ich will eigentlich auch gar kein POP3-Postfach und muss auch dieses WebMail nicht nutzen. Mir gehts jetzt erstmal um die Weiterleitungen.

Ich hatte den Experten gebeten mir IMAP zu installieren, was aber noch nicht getan wurde.

PS: Ich habe einen Root-Server und habe root-Zugriff und auch ein wenig Ahnung von der Bedienung. Ich weiß, wie ich Dateien öffnen und speichern kann.

Wie kann ich überprüfen, ob das Update-Script von Confixx fehlerfrei läuft? Bei den Servermeldungen in Confixx wird unter Fehler nichts angezeigt

angefangen rumliegen läßt, das traust Du Dir zu?

Die zitierte Mail macht den Eindruck, daß die Mail garnicht an deinen Server zugestellt wird, sondern an das Mailsystem des Providers. Das ist bei manchen Providern möglich, um sich die Einrichtung des Mailservers erstmal zu ersparen.

Schau mal im Kundenmenü des Providers nach was dort eingestellt ist, mach einen Portscan auf Deinen Server Port 25 und 110 ob dort ein Dienst lauscht, und schau nach welcher MX für deine Domain in die Nameserver eingetragen ist.

Interessant wäre /etc/postfix/main.cf.

Logfiles lesen, warn und die Maillogs.
