Die Webseite kann nicht angezeigt werden

Hallo,

ich habe seit mehreren Jahren einen Rootserver bei Server4you. Es sind mehrere Web´s eingerichtet, verschiedene programme installiert und alles lief recht gut.
Gestern abend war auch noch alles OK, aber seit heute kommt nur noch die Fehlermeldung "Die Webseite kann nicht angezeigt werden".

Nun habe ich den Support angeschrieben, um zu klären ob es an der Hardware oder an der Software liegt. Die meinten an der Hardware liegt es nicht, es muss an der Software liegen.

Alles was ich über Server weiss, habe ich mir selbst angelesen oder über Foren gelernt. Nun möchte ich gerne das Problem lösen und brauche dazu eure Hilfe.

Wie gehe ich da am besten vor, um herauszufinden woran es liegt, bzw. um den Server wieder zum laufen zu bringen. Natürlich wäre es auch sinnvoll, den Grund dafür zu wissen um so etwas für die Zukunft zu verhindern.

Einen Software-Reboot habe ich schon gemacht, dieser hat aber nichts gebracht.

Erste anlaufstelle sind hier immer Logfiles!

In deinem Fall die error Logs von Apache in /var/log.

Poste die uns doch mal, vllt. können wir dir dann helfen!
 
ich habe unter var/log/apache2 folgende error logs:
einmal error.log mit 0 byte von heute morgen
und einmal error.log.1 mit vielen einträgen.

Hast du um 6:25 den Server neugestartet?

ich war gestern abend bis ca. 01:30 am PC und dann erst wieder heute morgen so gegen 10 Uhr.
Als ich gestern aufhörte waren alle Seiten noch erreichbar.

Ich probiere jetzt mal

/etc/init.d/apache2 start
 
so, habe den Befehl eingegeben und folgende Meldung erschien:

Die Lösung für das Problem wirst du wohl in der Config deines Apaches (Zeile 56 in /etc/apache2/confixx_vhosts/web4.conf) finden. ;)

Ich vermute mal du hast die "httpd Spezial" Funktion von Confixx genutzt und dich verschrieben.
Deaktivier den Cronjob für das Confixx Counter/Update Script, lösch den entsprechenden Bereich aus der Config und starte den Apache neu.
Danach im Confixx in der "httpd Spezial" Funktion die Config richtig stellen und den Cronjob wieder aktivieren.
 
ich habe einen Cronjob für web0 und 3 für web14.

web4 habe ich keinen cronjob eingerichtet. Eventuell hat das Programm einen integriert. Das war generell eine schwere Geburt, es ging um ein Speileportal für Flashgames, welches ich lange nicht zum laufen brachte. Dort wird die htaccess verwendet. Ich machte dann folgenden Eintrag
Directory "/srv/www/webX/html">
AllowOverride ALL
Options +FollowSymLinks +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch
</Directory>
natürlich mit den richtigen Pfaden.
Danach lief das Programm dann auch.

Also lagst du mit deiner Vermutung genau richtig.

Da ich aber nicht so scharf auf diese Seite bin, würde ich nun den web4 einfach löschen.

Wie kann ich das tun, da ich momentan ja gar nicht confixx starten kann?

Übrigens wurde eine backup Datei unter /etc/apache2/confixx_vhosts/web4.conf angelegt, alos muss irgendwie das Programm heute morgen gestartet worden sein.

Egal, ich möchte gerne den web4 komplett entfernen. Was wäre dann zu tun?

Die Antwort von Firewire2002 nochmal richtig lesen ;)

Stopp den crond, editiere die Datei /etc/apache2/confixx_vhosts/web4.conf (besonders Zeile 56), starte den Apache neu, werf Dein web4 weg, starte den crond wieder.

Es kann passieren, dass durch den Fehler noch Folgefehler entstanden sind. Dies wird Dir der Apache beim Startversuch mitteilen. Dann musst Du da noch entsprechend weiter korrigieren.
 
So,

hab jetzt die /etc/apache2/confixx_vhosts/web4.conf (besonders Zeile 56), komplett geleert und den apache neu gestartet.

Siehe da.... alles läuft wieder :-)

Ich schmeiss jetzt den web4 komplett raus, und dann läuft das alles wieder wie geplant.
