ClamAV outdated trotz Update

Hallo,

ich habe gestern von ClamAV die aktuellen Sourcen runtergeladen und installiert. Freshcalm sagt auch, dass alles optimal funktioniert.
Unter Yast (SUSE 9.3) zeigt er mir bei clamav als verfügbare Version die 0.85.1 und als installierte die 0.88.3 Version an.

Allerdings steht in den LogFiles:

Woran könnte dies liegen?

Die Logfiles sagen Dir doch genau worum es da geht. Deine ClamAV-Installation ist veraltet. Du hast 0.85.1 installiert, und die aktuell empfohlene Version ist 0.88.3. Dein ClamAV kann zur Zeit also nur Virendefinitionen mit "functionality level" 5 erkennen. Alles andere (Levels 6,7,8) wird nur mit einer neueren Version von ClamAV erkannt werden.

Was Du theoretisch tun könntest, ist auf YaST zu verzichten, und ClamAV selbst zu kompilieren.

Nach dem neustart des Service zeigt er in dem Logfile auch die neue Version an. Leider kommt es nun zu folgendem Problem:

Hallo,

sicherlich habe ich das gemacht *rot werd*
Das Problem ist nun behoben, weil die ganzen Stops nichts gebracht haben und erst das ps gezeigt hat, dass die Prozesse noch laufen. Diese habe ich dann manuell gekillt und jetzt läuft es nach dem restart.
